| Thunder vs Northern Neck Rivermen Virginia Thunder-45 Northern Neck Rivermen-20
The Virginia Thunder hit a minor bump in the road in the 1st quarter of it's season opener and fell behind 2 touchdowns, but wait a minuite. This is NOT!! last years Virginia Thunder. Personnel were replaced and the coaches hit the start button and the Thunder was off and running with Rob hughs, Chris Wilkens,Donnel Lancaster & Leander Overby running for close to 300 yards. The receiving core comprised of Thunder veteran Tarrell Phillips, Don Wilson, Danny Ball, Ronnie Coleman, Mike Alleyene and Lenny Paiva were getting her done in the air for over 326 Yards in passing and special teams contributed to yards on the ground to bring the total offense up to 662 yards. and 7 touch downs. Thunder wide receiver converted to kicker Nate the "Hitman" Hawn converted 4 of his 6 extra point attempts good job Nate! The faces the Virginia Vipers this Sat. night at Hugenot HS in Richmond, Va. at 7pm. The Vipers are a second year power house team out of Richmond. All of the teams out of Richmond are good and will punch you in the mouth. So come on out and support your Virginia Thunder Semi Pro Football team or your Vipers. The Vipers lost a heart breaker to the Monarchs last week and are looking for major payback. This will be the Thunders 1st true test of the season. Thunder Shuts out the Stallions
The Thunder had it's third defensive shut out this season after blanking the Stallions by a score of 27 to 0. The Thunder got on the score board first with a 20 yard pass from Brian Holloway to Tarrell Phillips. Other scores were Another TD Pass from Holloway to Phillips. TD Pass from QB Lewis Jones to #2 Corey Sterling and QB Lewis Jones ran in for the final TD. Other signifigant events were 1 interception by Darcel Early and 1- Interception by Dewey. |

Thunder Shuts out the Trojans
After a 45 min delay of game due to light outage, The game kicked off with the Thunder striking first with a 25 yard field goal kicked by Mike Grant, followed by a 50 yard run by Isaiah wigfall for 6 and 2 point attempt failed by wigfall. other score was a 59 pass from Brian Holliway to Tarrell Phillips for 6 followed by kick by Mike Grant. |

THUNDER 18 Rhinos 12 Thunder vs. Rhinos Pre Season Game #1
In the first scrimmage of the 2006 season the Virginia Thunder struck first with a 40 Yard pass from QB Brian Holloway to Richard Doles AKA "DATBOY" and on the Rhinos third possession of the ball they struck with a deep pass for their first score. The Thunder answered with a scamper around the end by QB Brian Holloway. The Rhinos answered back with another deep strike. And the Thunder finished the scrimmage off with a staunch defensive stand and a recovered a fumble that was ran in for the third Touchdown. The Thunder plan to scrimmage again on the 20th of May.

THUNDER 14 HURRICANES 0 Thunder vs Hurricanes PreSeason Game #2
The Thunder and the Hurricanes faces off in an 7 on 7 scrimmage in which the Thunder opened up on offense and scored a touch down pass in the first series and then intercepted a pass for a touchdownon the hurricanes 1st posession. Shortly afterwards the Sky opened up and the game was cancelled at 14 for the Thunder and 0 for the Hurricanes.

THUNDER 42 Fury 0 Thunder vs Fury Preseason Game #3
The Thunder took on the Virginia Fury Wolfpack of Richmond Va. and won by a score of 42 to 0. The Thunder would like to thank the wolfpack for the invite because we needed the work and a great time was had by all. So many good things happened for the Thunder that we don't have to write them all up but Congrats to James and the Line. we couldn't have done it with out you.

Thunder vs Hurricanes Preseason Game 4 In pre-season game #4 the Thunder learned a valuable lesson and that was that they can be beat. The hurricanes opened up running and had its running game shut down by the tough Thunder defense that was missing key players. The Canes first score came from a deep pass from their QB to connect with the WR Lamont Ferebee. the final score was 35 to 21. Good Luck Hurricanes on your upcoming season.
| THUNDER 14 STORM 7 The Thunder Jumped off to an early lead in the 1st qtr with two long passes to Ricky Doles. The Storm got their 1st score in the 4th Qtr. it was a scrimmage full of emotion with plenty of hard hits every where. Thanks for the work on both sides of the ball. Good Luck Storm. |
