Thunder Wins hard fought game 28-6 over the Wilmington Tigers.
As the Thunder stepped off the bus Sunday afternoon the New Orleans Saints Were just putting the finishing touches on the Carolina Panthers. One cat down and one more to go says coach Mann of the Thunder. The winds were whipping wild and briskly and the Tigers were already on the field catching passes and just getting a feel for the conditions. The Thunder took to the field on the visitors side and did the same. After the team prayer the weather forecast was announced from the Thunder side of the field; Winds out of the NorthEast at 30Mph and 100% chance of the THUNDER to Rain on your Game. As announced by Veteran lineman Gerald Simmons just as the rain started to lightly come down. The Tigers won the coin toss and elected to receive the ball. With the Tiger's Featured Back Terrance Williams the Tigers managed to get a 1st down after 3 plays but after that it was 3 and out and the Thunder took to the field and on the 3rd play they hit the End zone with running back Wigfall. But the Tigers were not going to go away that easy on their third possession they also hit pay dirt by by having T.Williams Run up the chest and over the head and down the back of a Thunder player for the Touch down but the 2 Point conversion was stopped cold by Thunder Defensive Lineman Ronald Howard. and at half time the score was 7-6. After halftime the Thunder took back to the field with a new focus on winning the game. Scores were had by the following personnel I.Wigfall-Run, R.Doles-Run, A.Harris-Pass, and all extra points were made by Kicker Mike Grant. The game ended with the Thunder second team offense marching down field on their way to another score but decided to just run the clock out. Final Score Thunder- 28W Tigers-6 This win brings the Thunder record to 5-2.

| MARAUDERS GET MUGGED
The Mid-State Marauders went down to the Virginia Thunder By a score of 30 to 0. Key scores were made by Eddie Mundy with a fumble recovery that was ran in for a Touch down. and by Isaiah Wigfall who scored Three Touch downs by a combination of pass and runs. The Defense pitched its first shut out of the season with with standout players Ronald Howard and Obidiah Bennett who combined for more than 10 tackles 2 sacks and 2 Fumble recoveries.Good Job Defense.
